THE MOUNT ROYAL MINE This is a Patented Mining Claim in the same area as the Bank Mine. Historical exploration and mining indicate significant potential for mining on at least two veins. Previous mining at the Mt. Royal was relatively small tonnage and minimal development on only one of the known veins. The average grade of ore shipped was .174 oz. gold and 3.73 oz. silver per ton. Plan of Operation When Micrex first considered the Mt. Royal property it was primarily as an ideal site for a crushing and upgrading mill. The Mt. Royal was perfect for stockpiling ore and the site was improved so that ore could be brought to the site and processed in the most efficient manner. As work progressed on the site preparation Micrex investigated the claims themselves. In very short order it became apparent that the Mt. Royal was an excellent exploration target itself. While there are some existing tunnels Micrex feels that a drilling program would be most beneficial as the earlier operators acknowledged that they only concentrated on one of the three veins that are known from surface expression. As parallel veins that do not outcrop on surface are typical for the area Micrex would like to evaluate that possibility before initiating any further development.
