Micrex carries out second major staking program in B.C.
Micrex Development Corp. announced today that it has just completed staking a large area of claims in the Bighorn area of northern British Columbia.
This is in addition to the large area staked and mentioned in the December 1, 2004 press release.
After examining the exploration data to date; including satellite imagery and geochemistry, the company has taken steps to secure further areas of exploration interest.
Excellent assay results from previous work has prompted Micrex to intensify their exploration effort and to aggressively pursue further exploration potential in the Bighorn.
This latest staking covers a 35 square kilometer area of high interest and brings the total land holdings in the area from 25 square kilometers (10 sq. miles) to over 60 sq km.( 23 sq. miles).
The work was carried out under the new map staking regulations in BC allowing Micrex to stake an additional 218 claim units very economically.
The Company feels that the work to date, including the latest discovery of two new veins assaying 4.2 g/t (.135 oz./t) and 5.93 g/t (.19 oz./t) respectively and announced in the December 1, 2004 press release, proves that the Bighorn is an underexplored region offering a very attractive exploration target.
Micrex expects to carry forward on an expanded exploration effort at Bighorn in 2005.
